TrackLink® 4 - Next-Generation Track-to-Train Communication
Precise, Reliable Data Exchange Between Trackside Infrastructure and Onboard Control Systems
TrackLink®4 is a SIL2-rated track-to-train communication system designed to deliver precise, reliable data exchange between trackside infrastructure and onboard control systems.
The system comprises a redesigned onboard reader and a passively powered trackside beacon, operating together to provide accurate, location-based control inputs to the Train Control and Management System (TCMS).
Operational Safety, System Performance and Cyber Security
-
- SIL2-rated outputs for safe integration with onboard control systems
- Native Ethernet connectivity as an optional alternative to the serial interface
- Modular protocol support for integration with a wider range of TCMS architectures
- Doubled data payload from 6 to 12 bytes
- Dual-tag beacon configuration for improved read reliability at speeds exceeding 200 km/h
TrackLink®4 is designed for deployment across both heavy rail (mainline) and light rail/metro environments, supporting a broad range of passenger, traction and safety applications. The system is developed in accordance with IEC 62443 security principles and is aligned with the Cyber Resilience Act.
